We took all of our KS2 children to a concert in Southampton. The children had an amazing time and listened to music by Handel, Tchaikovsky and Klaus Bedelt, along with an audience participation song which the children have learnt in school. The whole event was compered by the amazing magician Neil Henry! The children were surprised at how familiar some of the music actually was!
This was a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience a performance in a large venue and will provide lasting memories for all the children, many of whom have not visited a theatre before or seen a professional orchestra perform. As you can see, we had the best seats in the house!
