Welcome to Year 4!
We are excited for a fantastic year of learning, creativity, and curiosity in Year 4. Below you’ll find key information about our routines, expectations, and what we’re learning this term.
PE Days
PE takes place on Wednesday and Thursday each week.
Please ensure children have the correct PE kit in school on both days.
Homework
Homework in Year 4 focuses on building core skills and independence. Each week children should:
Practise their times tables in preparation for the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) at the end of Year 4.
Read their reading books at home as often as possible.
Practise weekly spellings ready for their spelling quiz on Fridays.
Little and often is key - short daily practice makes a big difference!
